In addition to 100% Aspen Mulch and Aspen Turbo Mulch as Base Mulch products, Western Excelsior provides each product with an added tackifier, for convenience. Aspen Tack Mulch is 100% Aspen Mulch with tackifier and Aspen Turbo Tack is Aspen Turbo Mulch with tackifier. The tackifier used is a high quality, natural guar tackifier for all-around performance. Tackifier is added two both products at a standard rate, complying with most standard specifications. Further, both materials can be dyed to aid in tracking application. Mulch products provide a minimum of erosion control and are best suited for small applications, low risk applications, or small areas where RECP installation is impossible.
